is surface limitless? superficiē creates an environment to study, examine and question the definition of surface. by experimenting with the notion of surface as a source of speculative value via branding, and screens as active surfaces for participation, graphic designers are expanding our understanding of the term. the many forms of these experiments challenge and transform the physical limitations that were in place before the digital playground generated a space for new exploration. in effect creating a foundation for designers to build new territories for investigation and test their creative impulses with how far surface can go beyond known limits.
